In 1876 Charles Hires blended together more than 25 herbs, berries and roots to create the first non-alcoholic root beer.  By 1893, the Hires family was selling bottled versions of their brew.  Today root beer is a popular soda with many variations.

Our concentrated flavors are four times stronger than our baking extracts.  They are specially formulated for flavoring beverages.

Iced Tea: 2-4 drops for a large (16-20 oz) glass Water: 204 drops per large glass Hot Tea: 2-3 drops per cup Coffee: 2-3 drops per cup

Please note that these flavors do not add sweetness or tartness to beverages.  A small amount of sweetener will enhance the flavors.
